Here And There

The main emphasis of my thesis is to create a connection between my personal experience of coming to the U.S. and the experiences of other Vietnamese immigrants in order to describe “hope” in a visual narrative.

My story is not just about immigrating to the U.S. or about the war in Vietnam. It’s not about how we see ourselves as foreigners living in different soil. It’s about hope; our hope for a new home, a better life, and embracing family.
