Here And There

The main emphasis of my thesis is to create a connection between my personal experience of coming to the U.S. and the experiences of other Vietnamese immigrants, expressed through a visual narrative of hope.

This story is not simply about immigrating to the U.S. or the war in Vietnam, nor about seeing ourselves as foreigners living on unfamiliar soil. It is about hope—our hope for a new home, a better life, and the embrace of family.
